Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kochi and Drive to Munnar
Arrive Kochi international airport / railway station. Kochi, popularly known as THE QUEEN OF ARABIAN SEA. and proceed to Munnar, which is around 120 KM away and approximate travel time is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Munnar is also known as the Nature Lovers Paradise and will surely hold you captive throughout your stay. On the way you can enjoy the beauty of Neriamangalam bridge which is built in 1935. The other sightseeing on the way to Munnar from cochin are Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls, Karadipara view point etc. Check in the hotel and relax for the day.
Day 2 : Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for Munnar full day sightseeing. You can visit Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, which is constructed 1800 m above the sea level. Visit Tea Museum enroute visit Tea Estates. An informative place for all kids and tea lovers. This place has many photographs and machinery's of how the tea leaves are processed and definitely it will be exciting for tea sippers to know the mechanisms. In the evening take a quiet walk and explore the undisturbed nature. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3 : Munnar Thekkady
Enjoy your breakfast from Munnar resort and proceed to Thekkady, which is 85 KM away and approximate travel time is 3 hours. Enroute visit Spice Plantation. On arrival at Thekkady, check in the hotel, and relax. Afternoon proceed for Periyar lake boating. Periyar lake boating online booking is possible through KTDC website. Later walk on the street on Thekkady and visit Elephant Junction to enjoy Elephant Ride and watch Elephant Bathing in evening be mesmerized by a live show of Kalaripayattu (Kerala Martial arts) (On Direct Payment basis). After visiting the attractions, you will be driven back to the hotel for a comfortable stay. Overnight stay in Thekkady
Day 4 : Thekkady - Alleppey (Houseboat)
Enjoy your delicious breakfast from Thekkady resort checkout and proceed for short plantation visit. Around 9 AM proceed to Alleppey. Alappuzha (Alleppey) is famous as the Venice of the East. On arrival check-in at hotel and relax for a while. In evening enjoy sunset boat ride on backwater. (On Direct Payment basis) Overnight stay in Alleppey
Day 5 : Alleppey - Kochi Sightseeing - Departure
Now it is the time to say goodbye to God's own country, Kerala with sweet memories. Enjoy your breakfast from the Kumarakom/Alleppey and get ready for check out. If your departure flight/train in the evening go for a Cochin local sightseeing tour. According to your train/flight time back to Cochin airport / Ernakulam railway station for your onward journey back home.
